Stuart Johnston is a versatile multi-instrumentalist hailing from the southern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Keyboard player, drummer, vocalist, acoustic rhythm guitarist.

Stuart’s experience includes performing in piano bars as a solo piano player/vocalist, working in a variety of bands, to performing in theatre productions, working in recording studios as a session player / producer. From playing for years with ‘Gotcha’, a highly sought after corporate act around the Sydney metro area to being signed to Festival records as the drummer with Golden Guitar nominated country rock band ‘Shot to Pieces’, Stuart has had quite an eclectic career to date.

In more recent history Stuart has been touring with ‘STEVIE’ – the life and times of Stevie Wright and the Easybeats, a fantastic rockumentary based around one of Australia’s own rock legends. Stuart was also touring nationally with JON ENGLISH in the ‘Rock Show’ series since 2013, in which he took advantage of the opportunity to showcase his abilities on keyboards, guitar, drums and vocals each time he took to the stage. He also worked with Jon in the ‘Jon English’ band, and many variations thereof and toured 2015 with an acoustic ‘unplugged’ show playing all his hits in a more intimate setting. Stuart was playing with Jon until his untimely death in March 2016.

From June 2016 Stuart was touring nationally with the ‘Adele and Amy Songbook’. A show highlighting the talents of Adele and Amy Winehouse, who  continue to leave their mark on the world music scene.

2019 Stuart has been invited to play in another nationally touring show, to be announced late 2018.
